The chart includes:

  1. User interest rate
    The percentage of users who triggered the interest shown event at least once.

Interpretation

Imagine that during the selected period, your website had 10,000 active users in total. Of those, 2,500 users triggered at least one interest shown event. This means that 25% of your active users interacted with or showed interest in a topic.

We calculate this metric using the formula:

What the number tells you

Here are some common insights you can get from this widget:

  • A higher percentage indicates that a significant portion of your active users is showing identifiable interests, meaning your current interest-tracking strategy is effectively capturing user intent.
  • A lower percentage may highlight opportunities to improve how interests are captured, such as adding new Interest Shown triggers, enhancing content discoverability, or strengthening calls to action.
  • Changes over time help you measure the impact of new content, UX improvements, experiments, or personalized experiences initiatives designed to increase engagement.
