Service suspension
Learn how to temporarily suspend services that consume your quota.
You can temporarily halt all quota-consuming operations to preserve your allocation for a planned campaign or stop unexpected traffic from draining your monthly limit

How to suspend
Ensure your application has fallback content defined before suspending services to prevent unexpected behavior.
You can suspend or resume services at any time from your workspace settings:
Consequences
When you suspend services, the following behaviors take effect:
| Service | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Event tracking | Stops tracking and ingesting all events. |
| Content rendering | Falls back to the default content defined in your source code. |
| API requests | Rejects all incoming requests. |
Resuming services restores normal operation immediately. Your existing data and resources remain intact throughout.
Service suspension is designed for temporary pauses only. For permanent removal, remove the Croct SDK from your application code.
